Perogie Pinchers of Victoria was created out of necessity and a desire to share the Ukrainian culture.

My recipes have been handed down since 1863 from both my Mother and Baba (R.I.P. to you both ♥♥♥)

To be a part of the sustaining community, all of our vegetables are locally grown and the dill we use is also organic.  Starting with Canadian products grown in B.C. allows us to showcase our families traditional fillings bursting with sensational flavors! PPOV buys Victoria grown first then BC then Canada - keeping it local is part of our roots!

I will always have Perogies as my main focus however other family favorites will become available as PPOV grows.  Dishes such as Holopchi (cabbage rolls - no meat), Borscht (Ukrainian Beet Soup), Collach (braided bread with cottage cheese & raisin centre), and  Figas Mukum (cracker dough with poppy seed & honey) will be some of the favorites added into the PPOV cookbook!

Of course we can't just eat and teach how to make Perogies we absolutely MUST celebrate the Tradition too!!!! Perogie Parties are an EXCELLENT way to gather up a crew and pinch a few!!!! You and your guests will be laughing and learning at the same time you'll wonder what took you so long to book the Event!!!

A gathering of loved ones, the breaking of bread and hustle and bustle all about was the state of being in my homestead. My Parents taught me at a young age to have purpose; be productive and give from the Heart.  It's these principals that are the foundation of my FOR PURPOSE portion of my business.  I have decided to fully support The International Network of Hearts.  This organization provides a full life opportunity and rescue for all ages of both genders from the horrendous experience of human sex trafficking.  To give aid I will hold frequent fundraising events that will be Heart focussed and family oriented.  All funds will go directly to INH and my efforts in lending a hand where I can for them. Continuing in the spirit of giving.....it is very important to Perogie Pinchers of Victoria to share their goodness with others.  To honor my personal values, I give back to the community by donating time, planting fruit shrubs around the community and by lifting up other Local Artisans and their businesses. I also volunteer my time at the Ukrainian Catholic Church for their annual food fair by pitching in a little with Perogie making of course!
